With her album ensconced in the UK top 10 for ten weeks and her Jazz Café gig in August sold out, swinging, stylish pop superstar Caro Emerald released a follow up single 'The Other Woman' in September.

‘The Other Woman’ is another standout track from Caro’s debut album, one that slows the pace down for a tale of infidelity woven around a delirious mix of contemporary sounds and a gliding slow dance rhythm. Caro will return to London in December with her superb eight-piece band to bring to a close another extraordinary year.

A record-breaking star in her Dutch homeland, in 2011 Caro’s debut album ‘Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ has resonated with audiences all over Europe. On these shores it is certified gold and has been an almost permanent fixture in the Top 10 ever since the release of her single ‘A Night Like This’ in May, peaking so far at number 4 and becoming the sleeper hit of the summer.

2011 has delivered a succession of highlights for the singer whose chic image and effortless marriage of 50’s inspired salsa, samba and jazz with a contemporary poppy vigour marks her out as a true original.  Her whip-smart, assertive lyrics and breezy vocals ensure that Caro holds it all together with consummate ease.

All of her singles to date – ‘Back It Up’, ‘Riviera Life’, ‘A Night Like This’ and ‘That Man’ – have found themselves on the A-list at Radio 2 and in heavy rotation at radio stations across the country, while Caro has appeared live on the likes of This Morning, BBC Breakfast and  Lorraine.

With her debut UK show at London’s Jazz Café on August 25th becoming an instant sell-out, Caro’s return to the capital will be another highly anticipated show. Yet it’ll also be a celebratory end to an enormously successful year for the charismatic singer who slickly translates the danceable party attitude of her album to the live stage.
