Damn Vandals return with their new single Can’t Go Dancing When You’re Gone, backed by B-side Hey Little Bunny – the follow up to their highly successful Bayonet release earlier this year.

Both tracks are supported by videos: and

Can’t Go Dancing When You’re Gone showcases the bands dynamic, taut, post punk sound.
The distinctive vocals of lead singer, London’s Jack Kansas, have already drawn comparisons ranging from Ian Curtis to David Bowie. Kansas is joined by the angular guitar of Oxford’s Frank Pick alongside Adam Kilemore Gardens from N. Ireland on bass and Chris Christianson III from Sheffield via Switzerland on drums.

The B-side Hey Little Bunny introduces a more psychedelic / shoegaze side to the band’s sound.

“Pixies meeting The Strokes with a touch of Guns n Roses swagger thrown on top.”

The London based band, who have not yet been together for 18 months, have already received support from Q Radio, Total Rock Radio, BFBS, Dandelion Radio and Radio2XS to name but a few.
They are now busy preparing for the release of their eponymous debut album to be released December 2011.

“A barrage of serrated riffs, a touch of shoegaze, a dose of post punk and a dense edgy groove that’ll have indie rock fans frothing at the mouth” Rhythm & Booze

“Swaggering rock ‘n’ roll” Time Out

“Defined vocals and music brought to life through sharp guitars creating a dirty atmosphere”
Room Thirteen

“A thrill ... they are bringing guitar-driven music and the emotion of post-punk back into the limelight."

“If you are a fan of Echo And The Bunnymen or even the Pixies this might just be your cup of tea."

"The future’s looking incredibly bright for this creative group"

“Rising stars” Dandelion Radio
