The Dirt Track announce brand new single ‘Never Been to Mars’ + UK Live Dates
Muddy chords and swathes of underlying synths characterise this new offering from Spain’s foremost live band, The Dirt Tracks. Finding inspiration in the ambitiousness of Muse and the rousing anthemia of Placebo, The Dirt Tracks brand new single ‘Never Been To Mars’ owes just as much to the likes of Bowie and Kraftwerk as it does to those modern day contemporaries. With a firm focus on melody, Karl (sampler), Masid (drums), Miquel (bass), Rafa (guitar) and Coma (guitar and vocals) have a keen collective ear creating blissful indie-rock.
‘Never Been to Mars’ will be released this September 26th. Talking of the release, vocalist and guitarist Coma said:
“I wanted the single to be released in the UK, because it’s from where all the music we like comes from. We love the music culture in the UK, the musicians and, of course, the people. We really think our style will fit there."
Already a hit on the live circuits of Spain and Germany, the band embarks on their first tour of the UK in September:
