These Reigning Days are a Devon based 3 piece band who started their gigging career just a few months ago by supporting Mercury Nominated Metronomy in Torquay and headlining Combefest and supporting the legendary John Otway. They headlined the music stage at Exeter Westpoint firework display and in December they headline Totnes Winter Festival. They are set to have a blinding 2012 already securing major festival slots across the UK and Europe and having attracted significant attention from the music industry and fans. December 2011 the band will also headline an Alpine tour.
The band have also just been announced as headliners at Exmouth Festival in 2012.
As lead singer of The Quails, Dan enjoyed national success and support from a myriad of radio stations and publications, securing a BBC Janice Long session and gaining a reputation as a powerful and impressive frontman with his prolific, innovative and talented songwriting, his distinctive and striking voice and not forgetting his charismatic stage presence. He played numerous festivals including Glastonbury and the BBC Radio 1 stage at Latitude and also supported Muse, The Kooks, Newton Faulkner and Motorhead.
With a new line up, Dan’s music has grown up - lyrically deceptively simple, layered with synths, keys, guitar, drums and harmonies,
'It’s very different to anything I've done before.
It combines a fusion of Indie rock with a subtle electro twist, but also with some deep and dark moments'
Dan also joins the likes of Biffy Clyro, Dave Grohl and Matt Bellamy in being endorsed by Manson Guitars of Exeter.

“These Reigning Days produce a stadium sound even in intimate venues.. If you want proof these guys are going places then listen out for the anthemic Living It Up. This should be all the proof you need that Steer is producing the sort of material that will result in major success. If you like Coldplay, but are too cool to admit it, then you’ll love These Reigning Days. They’re Coldplay with balls and a stiff drink instead of world peace and green tea."
David Parsley Totnes FM and South Hams Newspaper Group
"...fresh sounding songs and a great lead vocalist" Jeff Wayne (War of the The Worlds)
