Rockburn release their brand new single Better Man on Sept 17th.
Rockburn come from Bellshill, Scotland and have been writing and performing rock n roll music for the last 7 years. With a foundation of booming, bluesy beats and punchy, rhythmic bass playing combined with monstrous guitar riffs and great raspy vocals the band are able to continually write hard hitting catchy songs which has seen them described as "A breath of fresh air". Memorable riffs and totally infectious sing along choruses have ensure that the fans keep coming back for more and have praised Rockburn’s self-released Album, EPs and live shows.
As well as playing festivals across the country, gigging hard, supporting larger acts they have also toured with signed bands including Wishbone Ash, The Drella's (Ft Ex-Space front man Tommy Scott) and Focus. In doing so the band have been able to build up a dedicated fan base across the UK and even in America which has seen them being invited to play in some of the most iconic venues in the UK including the prestigious Cavern Club in Liverpool, The world famous Glasgow Barrowlands as well as headline slots at a sold out King Tuts.
Their song 'Red Dress' was chosen as a soundtrack to top US TV show Burn Notice, which was broadcast worldwide on June 3rd 2010 and has since been syndicated around the globe. The band received national coverage with the likes of STV, Clyde 1 & Rock/Real Radio, as well as local press, covering the story. Recently the band has been receiving a lot of radio air-play throughout the country where the response has been extremely positive. They have been featured on such stations as Rock Radio, Q Radio, BFBS and the likes. In 2010 the band were invited by Liverpool Football Club to have their song 'Red Dress' used as the half time music at games and more recently their song 'Night on Fire' was chosen by Celtic Football Club to be played at home games at Parkhead Stadium.
In 2012 Rockburn self-released their first album digitally which included 15 classic tracks which they have been performing live throughout their career. The band continues to perform live on a regular basis across the UK, and are currently working on new material for a follow up to their 2012 album “Red Dress”.
