2012 will be the year of Vanquish, Britain’s brightest new girl-band.

Bee, Holly, Lizzy, Rianna are four very special girls with one very special sound.

So who are the girls? Well let’s find out. In tweet-sized bites.

@BeeVanquish - Warm, genuine, easy going & spontaneous. I love laughing, having fun & being silly! I'm compassionate, honest & love to love!

@HollyVanquish - Always happy, love to laugh, forever impulsive & living life on the edge because it's too short not to. I follow my heart & my dreams.

@lizzyVanquish - I'm a perfectionist. I know exactly what I want in life. Love 2 laugh but cry easily. I'm a bossy boots but it’s only because I'm passionate

@RiVanquish - I am a bubbly, clumsy & sensitive person. I love to make people laugh & put a smile on their face. I trip over everything, I love animals

What’s this special sound? Fantastic dancefloor-filling Power Pop, with capital Ps. But when you hear who’s been writing songs for them that won’t be a surprise. Ivor Novello award winners Rob Davis (Kylie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and Jorgen Elofsson (Britney, J-Lo, Kelly Clarkson), master tunesmith Wayne Hector and Nick Dresti (AKA Lady Gaga’s ‘Space Cowboy’) are just some of the names who’ve been penning top tunes for the girls to create what is shaping up to be a standout pop album.

And, boy, can they sing! As they’ve shown on every one of their 100 performances in 2011. Touring the length and breadth of the country, performing at schools during the day, clubs at night, and theme parks and arenas at the weekend, Vanquish have spent this last year honing their sound, and earning their pop-stripes. Highlights include performing at The British Grand Prix at Silverstone; to 15,000 fans in Sheffield (sharing the stage with Matt Cardle & Tinchy Stryder); every day at Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model Live (they were hand-picked and dressed by the event’s official designer Joey Bevan); and supporting Lemar in Stockport with an audience of 7,000.

Oh, did we mention that they are gorgeous, and funny, and the best of friends, and that they dance?

What’s next for the fab four? Their debut single will hit in March - ‘Harder You Love’ is instant-catchy-cool and a perfect teaser for their summer 2012 album. So all that’s left to do is turn the music up loud and party with Vanquish
